40th anniversary photos - (part 22) Irish honeymoon in a Renault 4
Some of these R4's get more strange. This one's similar to a plein
air but with more modern styling, and a rather expensive looking paint job.
With this model, like many of the cars pictured, the photos don't
really do it justice. It was a beautiful gleaming blue and in excellent condition,
but the strange mixture of forever changing sun and rain on the day made it
difficult to get good lighting on many pictures.
Finally, you wouldn't really believe it, but this car had crossed
2 seas all the way from Ireland, and was still adorned with ribbons and balloons
from a couple just married. They were taking their honeymoon in their R4, let's
hope the suspension was up to the job.
