Some of the specialist models on display included an old 1960s classic converted into a two-seater cabriolet, and a bizarre half cut-away model displaying its interior on the outside.
Several 4L Trophy participants and other rally models were present.
Meanwhile, many of the official special editions of the R4 could also be seen. A fine example of an original Jogging model from the early 1980s (above) was sporting its fabulously colourful interior, whilst another variant I had completely forgotten about surprised me by proving its existence. The Cartes Jeunes was designed towards the latter years of the R4's life in an effort by Renault to attract younger drivers to the car. This example (below) was immaculate and had a very low mileage.
