1986 GTL restoration project
Some pictures of the reconstruction of a September 1986 D reg red GTL, sent by Andrew McGraa in Penzance. New wings are being put on all round.
With the engine removed.......
Some months on, and more pictures have arrived of the restoration work on this car. This first one shows some considerable welding work on the chassis, not dissimilar to that undertaken on my own car (see previous article in this section).
Back in the engine bay.......
Work at this stage was still a bit 'up in the air'.......
