40th anniversary - Arnhem 2001: photos part 17: topless jogging at a rodeo?
This 2-door cabriolet belongs to Ruud Wind, who designed and constructed it. He runs 'Dè Renault 4 Garage' in the Netherlands (see the R4 links page) and you can find further photos in the Peoples Pic's section of this site's Gallery (number PP31).
Here's the first of two 'Jogging' special edition models that were on show. They were launched in the early 1980s in an attempt by Renault, presumably, to be up to date with the latest trends and fashions. They feature blue bumpers, side panels, canvas sunroof and front handles, and both of the cars on display had been preserved in excellent condition.
Another offshoot of the R4 was the Rodéo model. This was one of two that attended. You can find pictures of the other in part 1 of these photo entries.
And to finish this entry, here's a classic '60s model.
