The last of the 4s seen by Maria Cooke around Angoulême, France in 2006. Maria herself is a big fan of the MG Maestro, and owns a fair few of them including some rare models. She refers to them as the 'hexagons'. Maria adds:
'The hexagons have multiplied somewhat. The count now stands at 7, plus one Rover 400 and a Mondeo. Still got the silver Vanden Plas, the camper, and the MG1600 race car. I now also have red and black MG turbos (the black one is one of 49 ever made), plus the two 1.3s that belonged to my parents way back when. They need work, but it would be too much of a wrench to part with them.'
You can find a few other photos from Maria on the site by visiting the My Pics section of the Gallery, where entry number MP14 from a few years back displays the splendours of my second R4, Nicolexia, just days after her memorable respray.
