Continuing from the previous entry, I had spotted a few Renault 4s around the vicinity of Rouen, including a red contender from the 4L Trophy all kitted out in decals, and a nice green one outside a block of flats in the Saint Hilaire district. The only other one I actually photographed was this TL, located on the main inner ring road opposite Boulingrin metro station. Further down this road near the main rail station was a slightly bruised white GTL very similar to my own. It was strange to be living in an area where it's possible to see other R4s on an almost daily basis. Since the day I acquired my first Renault 4 in 1996, I've never enjoyed such a pleasure before. Here in the north of France, the car does still seem to be doing its best to fight the rain and rot. Before I left France on this occasion, I managed to lay my hands - rather unexpectedly - on a Renault 3 (of sorts)! More about that can be found on the News & Updates page for 2008.
