The latest couple of entries for this section come from a far flung corner of the world. This is Peter Monk, who emailed me with this message:

'I thought you might like these 2 photos for your website gallery. I took them in 1982 when on holiday in the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. I wonder if the cars have aged better than me! I suspect they have! A lot of my hair has fallen off and I now am more silver in colour. I live at Woodend about 70kms north of Melbourne Australia. I have owned a number of Renaults over the years i.e. R10, R12, and R16 but never an R4. The R4 never sold in Australia in any numbers and consequently are very rare. I have recently restored a Citroen DS21 and am now looking for a new project and have come across 2 R4's which could probably provide enough components to make one good one. If it happens I'll send some pictures of them and the project as it progresses.'
