The quality of these pictures is rather appalling, and I can be so outwardly opinionated since they were taken by myself with the blurry little camera on my phone. It's the only time to date that I've attempted to capture an R4 with the device, the situation demanding emergency photographic measures in the absence of a more decent camera. Hence, it's virtually impossible to see the flowery decoration adorning the car in this first picture. It was spotted whilst I was out for the day in Lewes, Sussex, during the summer of 2005.

A card was left on the windscreen, and the owner - by the name of Merlin - contacted me soon after. I don't know the story of what sort of wizardry created the original and colourful paint job, and sadly some other photos taken by my friend at the time never materialized. The second photo could easily be mistaken for the same car, but the vehicle at the forefront is in fact my own Reflexia, with the other parked behind. I'll attempt to track down either the car or the owner again in the future - since it's only a short distance up the road from my home in Brighton - and if possible I'll add more pictures to this site showing the paint job in its full glory.
