Aitor Basurto started off 2006 by filling up my inbox with as many pictures as I might expect to receive in a whole year. Those shown here are of his own car; before and after restoration. The dozens of others are snaps from his travels around the region, and so can be found on the Mystery Cars page, added in dribs and drabs over coming weeks. He writes:

'Bonjour. Je veux te envoyer, par groupes eta peu à peu, des photos de quelques R4 que j'ai faites dans ma ville, Donostia (Saint Sébastién, Pays Basque) et dans les environs, pendant les deux dernières années....'

The photos, beginning with the one above, are described as follows: '.... a) ma R4, quand je l'ai achetée....'

'.... b) la voiture que j'ai prise à la ferraillérie pour obtenir les pièces pour arrenger ma R4....'

'.... et c) ma voiture arrangée et peinte.'
