Alex McGrath contacted me in February 2007 with this message:

'Greetings from Mexico City. Here's my R4 which is still being restored. It has a stock 1.3 engine from an R12 except for the electronic ignition. It also has front discs, so for now the only handbrake is a rock I take along with me! It has a current converter hidden left of the pedals so you can recharge the battery from your wall outlet, and a few other neat items.'

Every now and then I receive comments that make all the efforts involved in maintaining this site seem worthwhile. Alex adds:
