Dans les années 1978 - 1985, sa copine avait une RENAULT 4 de couleur blanche, m'a effectivement laissé des souvenirs impérrissables tant c'est une voiture toujours fiable. Ils ont pas hésité à traverser la France et l'Espagne en long en large et en travers. Et après sept ans, ils l'on revendu. De mon coté, j'ai repéché une RENAULT 4 Fourgonnette qui démarre avec une petite séance de toile émerie obligée. |

#403: Shaun Parker, age 42, UK, 30/6/07 Blimey, jeepers, crumbs! Browsing through this superb website, for the first time in 5 years, is an inspiration to me - as an avid R4 ex-owner that is. I had temporarily forgotten one of the true 'mantras' of my adult life - namely to own a R4. OK, I admit it, it's true. A divorce, a blown head-gasket (see Guestbook 2002), 3 job changes, a move across the UK (twice), a new born son, 4 house moves and a few ups & downs in my life may have allowed me to take my eye off the ball. BUT NOT ANY LONGER. I feel liberated. In fact, as some middle-aged men do, I have just run upstairs and into our bedroom, as my better-half is administering a face-pack, to announce to her (in a eureka style moment) that I SHALL own an R4 again - just as soon as the purse strings will allow. I'm a back. Morally, spiritually, mentally, physically and soon to be finacially - I am back. webmaster comments: Congratulations on your decision, and for posting probably the most enthusiastic entry ever seen in this guestbook! |

#401: John Greenwood, age 56, UK, 13/4/07, greenwoodjohn*hotmail.co.uk It's a pleasure to be a Renault 4 owner, mine is a 6F van 1985, battered but unbowed. It has just sailed through its latest MoT. It has travelled to Norway, Denmark, Germany and especially France. It has carried countless tons of everything from oak planks to cubic metres of horse manure. People have had sex in the back of it (not me!). I am lucky to be able to get it serviced in France where I have a little house, and also ready access to a French scrap yard. Long may it continue! |
