Evans, 'old', UK, 10/3/06, evansalone*aol.com Very funny site, but not much new material of late. Don't give up - give us more. I particularly liked 'Tomatoes in sandwiches - whose idea was that?' By the way, I'd love to own a R4, but I'm no mechanic. Is that a non-starter? webmaster comments: I'm not in any way a mechanic myself, in fact I know hardly anything useful about car maintenance or restoration, but it won't put me off owning an R4. You just need to ensure you find one in good mechanical condition in the first instance, and preferably a later model which won't give you so much grief when it comes to tracking down spares. Leave the earlier classics for the real mechanical nuts. As for new material, I'm doing my best to keep the gallery and other pages ticking over with fresh material every week or so, but you probably won't see so much in the line of tomato remarks or general life gripes. They kind of dried up when the enthusiasm of having a website where you can spout off to the world at large about anything became nothing more than a chore, some years ago. The site is still due for a general makeover but I've also given up making promises as to when, as it seems to act as a form of curse each time I do so. Don't worry though, Renault 4-Play isn't giving up yet. |
