When I see Renault 4s brought together, I sometimes wonder in my wandering mind whether any of the cars were on the production line at the same time, and have been reunited after years apart. I like to think of them rekindling lost friendships and childhood loves, having chats about the good old days and talking about the chocolate bars that used to be left on their seats. I bet the brown one below is reminiscing about the days when it and old whitey, further along the line, used to loosen their screws in the factory behind the workers' backs, and play the humming game by purring their engines at night and alerting the security guards, then going quiet when they came to investigate. (I should point out that I've had a bit to drink tonight after a long week's hard work, and I should have gone to bed ages ago).
