The largest meeting yet in this series of events held throughout 2002 was at Santarém in Portugal, some 50 miles north and east of the capital, Lisbon. Around thirty-nine Renault 4s, many of them spectacular examples, gathered to celebrate this first national event. It is hoped that the event might grow in future years, with the numbers of R4s around the country being still quite high.
