Still in Fashion in 2007!

Over its 46 years of life until now, the R4 has been the subject of many advertising campaigns around the world. And still today, the car is used to depict various ideas and ideals, some of which might chime more fittingly with the average Four enthusiast than others. Here in July 2007, the Renault 4 was used as a backdrop in one of a series of fashion ads featured in the 'Easy Living' magazine, sold in the UK.
The car pictured would appear to have been found in Morocco or another nearby country, due to both the sandy setting and the Arabic text seen in other photos from the set. From my own brief experience travelling for one day in Morocco in 2003, I noted that just about all of the many Renault 4s seen in the country were white.
