The first entry to this 'My Pics' section actually starts off with a photo not of my own. Rather, this is my sister's first R4, which charmed my parents enough to make them purchase one themselves the subsequent year as a stopgap due to troubles with their Volvo. Ultimately, that latter, red R4 ended up in my hands a few months later and hence this green GTL was essentially the reason for me getting one, and the reason this website is here. Please worship it, for it is sadly departed.

Here it is seen parked in Hove, England, circa 1996. The Renault was purchased from a near neighbour of my sister in the Elm Grove area of Brighton, around the mid-nineties, and after a few years of use was sold for spares or repair when the usual chassis leg rot problems emerged. It was last seen lurking somewhere around the Preston Park area at the end of the 1990s. Any memories of this vehicle from former owners will always be interesting to hear.

The metallic green colour was used on many other R4s of the same production year, which would have been 1983 or 1984. It was only many years later that I found out my sister had a name for this car; she called it Ermintrude.
