This Renault 4 appears to be in good condition, unlike the majority of cars seen around the streets of Catania in Sicily. Whilst taking this photograph, somebody driving another small car attempted to park behind the R4 and had no qualms about knocking its rear bumpers quite comprehensively. That's the way Sicilians park, and as a consequence, most vehicles seen on the island were quite battered and bruised. The number plate on this model was CT 726070, and it was seen on a street running from Via Etnea towards the rail station on the east coast of the city. It was the third of four spotted during my stay.
