In March 2008, I was unexpectedly sent on a job in Lisbon, Portugal - the first time I'd visited a client in this country. My only previous stay here had been during my Interrail adventures some years previous, when I met up with two of this site's greatest fans: Fernando Palma and João Seabra. This time I again arranged to meet Fernando, so we had further chats about the R4 into the night whilst knocking back some beers in Bairro Alto.
The following day, I was fortunate to have some time off work, so I took a walk from my hotel towards the famous Aqueduto das Águas Livres. Along the way, I happened across three more Renault 4s, the first of which is displayed above. It had the lucky honour of receiving one of my calling cards under its wipers. I handed another of these to a couple who were getting into their Four in the downtown Baixa district. With so many R4 fans residing in Lisbon it's quite possible that somebody will be able to tell me who this one belongs to. I'm waiting.
