On the last day of February 2009, I followed up on a tip-off from a friend, who advised that she had seen another Renault 4 in Brighton. It's at least four years since I last spotted one in my home town (if you discount a Polish tourist who passed me on the seafront one afternoon), so I was rather suspecting another of those all-too-common friend who just cannot understand the difference between a 2CV and an R4 incidents, but my cynicism was spoiled by the sight of this beige banger hiding in a quiet road as had been indicated. The car had a prang on its front driver side (which was the left, since this was a foreign model). I could only take this inferior snap with my aged old mobile camera, but a card was left on the windscreen, so if you own this car you might wish to upgrade the image to something more delightful.
