One of the first visitors to this site when it launched in April 2000 was a guy called Ram from Israel. He was an early entry in my Guestbook, holding the honour of being signature number 6. Now he returns, courtesy of his friend, Dan Junger, who has sent many other pictures to this Gallery of late, both here and in the Mystery Cars section. This time, Ram claims an even more exclusive honour, that of being the 200th entry into this People's Pics section, and the first of 2006.

It's quite incredible how many cars have become stars on this site. Two hundred in just this section alone, plus the many more elsewhere; I never expected so much to be contributed from R4 fans around the world when I first launched. Ram's pristine, fully restored 1969 model Renault 4 is seen here alongside a line-up of other classics. Two hundred from the production figure of over eight million; that means I'll be kept busy adding pictures of the remainder for some time to come!

Ram says these photos were taken at a club meeting for Hanuka and the New Year, on the Saturday at the end of 2005. Find out more about Ram's Renault 4 on his long-running website (see the R4 Links page for the address).
