Every now and then I receive pictures in my inbox that come with no message, name or explanation, so it's down to my best guesswork as to the meaning or origin. This was one such image, sent in January 2011 from an email account bearing the name Cvrle Simic. I assumed them to be the owner of the vehicle, and chanced my arm at some geolocation, reckoning the sender to be based somewhere in one of the former Yugoslavian countries, perhaps Serbia or Montenegro.

Shortly after publishing the photo, the owner has been in touch to put me straight:

'Hello! My name is Tvrtko Šimić from Mostar(BIH), and I send a pic of my 84'GTL.'

So, Bosna i Hercegovina it was. One might say 'Close, but no Cegonivar'.
