50th anniversary - Brooklands 2011: photo set 1 number 11

I was apparently not the first person to enquire of the owner of the GTL on the left whether this was the original colour. He confirmed that this maroon / burgundy / claret or whatever you prefer to call it is indeed authentic. I've seen older Sixties models in a similar shade but later ones aren't so common. Meanwhile, the neighbouring red GTL was brought along from Reading by a fan who I'd also met at the French 4L International at Thenay in July. Quite a few of today's attendees had also been to the big bash in France earlier in the summer.
