50th anniversary - Brooklands 2011: photo set 1 number 12

The owner of this deceptively old model (seen standing under its boot lid) brought the car over from Morocco where it had participated in desert rallies, hence the various motifs. He'd recently registered it in Britain and applied the classic black plates, allowable thanks to it being an early F reg from the Sixties. He'd also had to hide the petrol cap on the inside due to fuel thieves in its homeland.
