50th anniversary - Brooklands 2011: photo set 1 number 13

You could be forgiven for thinking this is my own white Savane, and indeed I was most surprised to see it roll up later in the morning. In fact, it is another French import like my own, first registered in 1992 (or it could have been 1991, I forget). Its French owner told me that she purchased an R4 in Marseille but it was stolen soon after, so this was in fact the replacement vehicle obtained via her insurance. It has the matching headrests which my own lacks, and the original grey-going-on-brown bumpers, which my Queen Geanine also sported prior to a little touching up at Derek's garage.
