Christmas Eve 2011, and I wondered if maybe this old van was being prepared for the Second Coming of Christ the following day, in view of its various religious artefacts adorning the interior. I passed it up on the hill at St Just in Lyon, just outside the Église Saint-Just des Macchabées, and it seems to be still in use for funerals. It's a bit of a diversion from the regular round-up of Renault 4s in this section but it seemed unusual enough to warrant a moment in the spotlight.
