Continuing from the older photos seen in the previous set (#PP122), here are some fantastic recent pictures from Jorge in Seville, Spain. Featured in this first image is his son, Ayrton.

As mentioned previously, Jorge is friends with João Seabra and Fernando Palma in Lisbon, and he took his 1988 red R4GTL Clan to the same workshop where João had his 1973 R4LC ("La Laranja Mecânica") restored (see People's Pics #PP118 and Star Car #SC18 in this Gallery, also the huge article number TQ7 in the Technique section). The two cars are pictured below.

The reason for the excursion to the workshop in Lisbon was for the fitting of a new soft fabric roof, in an original style similar to the factory part fitted as standard on many R4s (below).

Jorge comments:

'Hi Pete, I am called Jorge and am the fifth element of the Iberian community cuatrolatera. I knew one year ago Luis, Asier, Fernando and João for your web page. These photos (below) ... are of last weekend in the geographical center of Portugal, near Coimbra.'
