Ben Hughes writes in March 2006 with these snaps, which you'll realise as you scroll through them are not the result of a squashed camera. He explains:

'This is my Renault 4 that I built originally in 1998 and have been working on ever since. It has a 3 inch roof chop, which is straightforward on a R4 cos of the flat glass and various other modifications. It also has a gordini engine which makes it quite fast.'
